THE BENEFITING CHARITIES
The following charities will receive 100% of the proceeds from Phenomena 2008.
THE JIMMY FUND. DANA-FARBER CANCER INSTITUTE
Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has supported the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, helping raise the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world.
The Jimmy Fund has been integral to the success of treatment for once-incurable childhood cancers for more than 58 years. Today, due in part to Dr. Sidney Farber's groundbreaking work at Dana-Farber, overall cure rates for children's cancers have reached more than 75 percent (and up to 90 percent for some forms of the disease).
Since 1948, thousands of events, coupled with the generosity of millions of people, have helped the Jimmy Fund save countless lives by furthering cancer research and care at Dana-Farber.
"The Jimmy Fund Council of Greater Boston is thrilled and honored to be a beneficiary of such a special event. Blessing Mazarura and his company Bless by Bless Couture have demonstrated a remarkable commitment to charities that benefit children and we are grateful that they have chosen to support the live saving mission of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The Jimmy Fund Council is also proud to be a co-beneficiary of this event with Mother of Peace, a wonderful charity from Blessing's native Zimbabwe."
Scott Shuster, President
Jimmy Fund Council of Greater Boston

MOTHER OF PEACE AIDS ORPHANAGE CHARITY
Mother of Peace was created in 1994 as a response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Zimbabwe. It provides a home where children affected by HIV can be given shelter, clothing, education and healthcare. Mother of Peace enables these children to be brought up in a loving family community.
The UN estimates that there are 780,000 children between 0-14 years old
orphaned by AIDS in Zimbabwe. Less than 4,000 of these are cared for in registered orphanages.
Zimbabwe has the fastest growing orphan rate in the world with one in four children being orphans. Mother of Peace depends exclusively on donations and support from around the world. With the current political unrest and the world's highest inflation rate at over 1000%, it is a perfect time to help innocent children in Zimbabwe and also here in America. Mother of Peace is part of the Charity Commission of England and Wales. UK Charity # 1109058.
