PHENOMENA 2008 CHARITY FUNDRAISER BALL

Phenomena 2008 was the first annual charity ball created by Boston fashion designer Blessing Mazarura to raise money for children's charities in Boston and his poverty stricken homeland of Zimbabwe. The event took place on September 6, 2008 at the prestigious Larz Anderson Auto Museum, Brookline, MA. It was hosted by Boston model Alanna Leonard in memory of her beloved twin sister Taryn.

The two benefiting charities of Phenomena 2008 were The Jimmy Fund (Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) and Mother of Peace Aids Orphanage in Zimbabwe. 100% of the profits from this event were donated to these charities.

I would like to personally thank each and every guest, volunteer and supporter of Phenomena 2008. The event was a great success and would not have been possible without all the love we recived from you.

Thanks for your support! Looking forward to Phenomena 2009.
